It's a mix. DJM lower control arm front, Belltech adjustable strut front.

Rear is a Maxtrac flip kit and Belltech shocks

I'll take the old one if your done with it.

New one looks sweet too. I didn't like the wheels at first look but I think with a couple of more chrome accents they'll tie in well.

    The 68 is a friend's truck.

There will be no more chrome added to this truck, only removed. I am not much of a chrome fan.

That was the last set on earth and they're only polished and that's why we have powder coaters.

Lookin good, but I have to ask, why the lowered z71? & Why not go with bigger wheels, those wheel wells are huge?

Because I did it the way I wanted to. Ride height has little to do with drive wheels. I don't like big wheels, I like sidewall and driveability.

Aesthetically they are definitely related. The whole fender gap thing.

Fender gap also has no relation to drive wheels. Aesthetics also have no relation to drive wheels. Super tall trucks can be 4wd. My very low car is also 4wd. Two very differing levels of fender gap.

We're talking about 2 different things man. I hear you, that's pretty obvious. I thought you were saying wheel size had nothing to do with ride height.

I'm one of those that falls into the "don't get lowering a 4x4" deal but to each thier own. My thinking is more related to beginning ride height/end goal than function. I know a shitload of people that don't use the 4wd in thier truck, but it still seems like a 2wd Silverado would be cheaper to buy &a drop than a 4wd Z71.

I don't understand how you cant "get" lowering a 4x4. I wanted a low rcsb and in this climate I need 4wd because it makes driving in snow and ice much easier. Simple concept.
