I picked the motor up last night and put it in today.
I still have to add fluids, tidy up the wiring and clean it all.
I tried a couple different spots with the factory coil bracket and couldn't find a good spot to mount them, I am going to either build some brackets or buy some.

I want to enjoy this, but Photobucket is killing the mood again.

Oh yeah, I also went and grabbed a new lengt of 4" exhaust tubing to make a new intake tube because mine is all full of old sensors and stuff over the years, I got all my fittings and hose for when I put the new valve covers on and I will put the new tube on then.
I also put the fluids in the motor and gave the interior a much needed cleaning.

    Not much to update.
I put my new intake tube in, made a new front gap guard because I wrecked one last summer, put fresh plugs in and put my old valve covers back on.
I decided to just wait on doing the coil relocation.
Almost ordered a progressive controller yesterday, I will order one right away, I posted my window switch forsale but haven't had any bites yet.
Still waiting on the trans and back rims for the slicks.
I am itching to start this thing.....

I picked the trans up on my lunch break yesterday, painted it last night, put it in and fired the old girl up today.
It was nice to hear it run again.
Finding dex 6 fluid in this city is nearly impossible to find nowadays. I had to break down and go to the dealership to get some.
I am just waiting for a video to upload

I can't get the video to upload for some reason.
I put my ls9 Injectors in and got a tune to try so I am going to fire it up tomorrow.
The reason I have been wanting to get the truck done so quick is because the wife is pregnant. She is due the end of July so I have alot to do on the house before them so the truck won't be getting much attention until spring time.
My back rims are now back ordered until March sometime which really sucks because I will be going hard on the basement, I will have to find time to get the slicks mounted, see how much I will have to grind off the calipers and then do all my frame touch ups.

I put anti seize in all the bores to stop that. Lol
I started the truck yesterday with the ls9 Injectors and things didn't go so well.
Backed it out of the garage fine, let it idle for 30 seconds and then 2 injectors started spraying all over.... they slid down out of the rail, zip tied them up so I can get a data log, fired it up and a couple more started leaking, so I zip tied them all up so I could get the truck back in the garage.
I tried bigger o rings and that didn't help.
Even tho they are the same height Injector as my ls3 ones that I ran for like 3 years with no issues I can't get these to stop leaking so I ordered up some spacers that go on top of the injector.
    That should solve the problem

I got my injector spacers and fuel pump sock Friday night, put the spacers in, dropped the tank and put a new gates hose on the pump and new fuel pump sock.
No more leaks and pressure holds strong.
I did try to do a burnout in the garage while data logging but it would go stupid lean, just checked the map sensor and wire and all seems well so I will fire it up again next weekend when I have more time.
My power steering has been leaking everytime I start the truck, I thought I had fixed it with a new clamp on one hose but apparently not so I will have to look into that more.
4 wheel parts said my rims are on back order till end of March, checked summit yesterday and they are in stock so I ordered them up from them so once I get them I will cancel my order from 4wheel parts.
Also going to order ujoint girdles to replace the shitty factory style straps.
I will try and find time to build some drive shaft loops before may long weekend so I can head to the track with some buddies.
