Here is mine. Oem heads painted gloss black. Square mini D2s hi and low. Switchbacks and had the shrouds painted candy red to match suspension. Hooked up the lights to have functional "shutters"? So top and bottom projector are always on. Love the output IMG_4853.JPG

Almost have mine done. Mini h1 with square mini Gatling shrouds and Rigid DOT pods. Going to run a DRL strip across the center divider of the bezel and paint everything satin black.

Are you talking about the bi-xenon cutoff shields?

I don't know enough about it to even know if that is the right name lol. The hi and low beam lights are on all the time. The cutoffs are aimed down and when I switch to hi beam. Both projectors flip up and the fog lights shut off.

Ok gotcha, just making sure you weren't talking about something new I hadn't heard of lol.

Yeah those are just standard projector shields that create the cutoff to keep from blinding others. Bi-xenon projectors like those have an actuator to flip the shield out of the way for high beam function.

Wish I would've done a quad retro but just didn't wanna risk messing it up.

I've always wanted a quad setup but having four steps in the cutoff not lining up would send my OCD out of control.

They throw the light really wide up banks so I can watch for deer while my highs are still on, but yeah they were mostly for looks admittedly. Next set will be quads once I get some more practice.

Fastheadlights offers Morimoto XB LED fogs for the silverado in Chrome for an additional $65.

Are these fogs sealed with butyl or permaseal? I may just try to paint them myself.

I know about fastheadlights, thing is after a $65 increase its MUCH more than what I'm willing to spend on fogs. At that price I can mod my factory ones with Corolla led projectors and get 10X better output.

Saw this a few days ago, more drastic than I expected considering the short distance

Well I would imagine it'd be a lot brighter compared to using halogen in that tinted lens but stock halogen in untinted vs hid projector in tinted might be a close call.
