want to get a new exhaust manifold or some headers for my 76 k20 with a 400 sbc and th350 with np203tcase want to gain a little performance but dont want to modify my exhaust im on a tight budget trying to find the cheapest bolt and go options i just got the truck and it seems like the stock manifolds are possibly leaking i put new gaskets on and it helped but these seem to still leak
next i will be finding a different carb and intake manifold but the exhaust needs attention first i think

Longtube headers are obviously your best option for performance gains. There are some good shorty headers out there, but if you're gonna spend money for more power, do it right the first time.
But if you really can't afford to run new exhaust right now and your manifolds are damaged(?), you should be able to find a set of manifolds for $50 or less since most people that take them off have no use for them.
