What are you gonna do about the mirror holes? Just put a plug and leave them for now or get them fixed and try to get the paint to match?

For now I just put the screw back in them but long term plans are to weld them shut at the same time as I do body work and paint it. I may go and paint the heads of those screws this summer so they kinda blend in better but those won't be there in the long term plans. Trying to decide on what the new paint scheme will be. Depending on the day I have different thoughts as to what I want it look like. It's brain numbing LOL

Those mirrors look so much better. I used some of those plastic door panel retainers with a dab of clear silicone to seal up my mirror holes until I do bodywork. [IMG]

My very first: 1977 CustomDeluxe K2500

Lost to a shed fire ::sadface
    TruckFire1.jpg
Then a 1984 GMC High Sierra K1500 had it for 4 years then sold to one of my brothers
    IMG_5494_avatar.jpg
Then a 1974 K1500, mud truck. Thing was a beast. 366td SM465 NP205 all 35" Gumbo mudders and 16" AmericanRacing wheels. Sold that after 4 years, next owner put 44" ground hawgs but don't have pics.
That was the end of my classic ownership. Some day, I will own one again. I really miss having one.

I don't drive it much. It sits in the garage. It's fun in a straight line but handles like a moose.
