So, interesting look on the new Silvy. I personally don't care for the trail boss edition posted. Some of the photoshop pics posted made the truck look 10x better. I do like the more rounded wheel wells, I think that's a plus. I like the new tailgate and the taillights are meh, ok. I think the exhaust looks decent, though my preference is to have it tucked and unseen. As far as the mirror placement goes, wtf? I'm not sure if I like it or not. I would like to see a stock LT or LTZ. Chevy could have done better I think with the model they are using to promote the new body style.

I disagree with you on that. We had a few in past years and never had an ounce of trouble reliability wise.

Edit: I really like the lines and body of these, looks a hellva lot better than the half toners.

I think that has more to do with service arrangements. Ive worked a few remote locations that used fords exclusively but that was because the only shop around was a ford shop. I would agree that ford has the edge in vocational marketshare, but head to head and pound for pound I think they wouldnt be much different as far as reliability and work capacity.

I work at a GM Medium Duty truck shop. Only problem I see on the Kodiak/Topkicks of the 2000s are wiring issues, 99% of the time its broken wires in the 2" thick section of the main harness on the passenger side firewall of the engine bay. The are a stout truck if you got a 6.6 duramax equipped truck and not the 7.8 Isuzu equipped one.

Yep there was one yellow truck years back that had a wiring issue and if my memory serves me right they replaced entire harness with a new one after trying to diagnose it on failed attempts 6.6 trok was a complete tank to drive, always hauled everything we ever needed.

Thats the 2011 "All Terrain HD" concept from a few years ago.

Ah ok. I can see some doing cues used on the 2019 Silverado. One being the bottom of the rear door window.
