I would just think you need to take the rubber out and cut it in half. Wouldn't think you need to cut the whole bracket off

Can someone give me a straight up answer here. I have a 4/6 right now and want to drop the rear 2 more inches. Do I need drop shackles or lift shackles to lower a flipped rear end?

You still need drop shackles, that doesn't change. If you look at your leaf spring mounts it is all exactly the same, flipping the rear over them doesn't have any bearing on the need for drop shackles for continued lowering.

I cut mine and in my opinion I didn't need to. Now I feel like I need helper bags and probably do need them. The last time I pulled a trailer(16') it sagged really bad and still sat on the bump stops. The trailer was almost empty. It only had a Lincoln Ranger 8 generator/welder on it. I also bought Belltech lowering shocks.

Disregard the question I had about the wheels earlier I figured out they are CCWs and cost 1k per rim. Not in my budget. I know I'm in the wrong thread on this but you guys know your wheel and tire sizes. Are these 20s or 22s?

From what I've read I'm pushing it even going 3 in the front because the CV's will bind. Not a big deal tho. Not looking to sit frame, just want it to be noticeable as you don't see all that manny lowered trucks in Denver. I guess the SCSB's sit level at 3/6.

I'm 6" in the front on my 4x4. No binding. Haven't had a issue yet. Even used the 4wd the other day in the yard

I've since raised it to 3/5 due to the tires rubbing because I don't have the correct offset on my 24's. With my stock 20's though I could easily go lower then 4/6. 4x4 works flawless with the drop as well.

So I'm gonna be running the 2" spindle and the shocks set for 1-3 drop, where's the rest coming from for 6? LCA's? What kind.
