Hey guys. Never had a full size chevy. Looking to buy a 200-2006 5.3 or 6.0 crew cab 4x4. Any common issues or concerns I should look out for? TIA

Check the exhaust manifold bolts. It's a common problem for them to have the head of the bolt bust off over time. Most 5.3 and 6.0 have a slight lifter tick on a cold start in colder temps but that's not biggie. I've personally seen multiple 5.3s go almost 400,000 miles and driven like it's been stolen it's whole life. Great motors

200-2006 is a very broad range.

Thank you for the input. Couldn't have made a good purchase without that comment.

It was a joke, calm down. Besides, you're asking for advice from strangers over the internet, that better a way to make a good purchase.

It was obviously a joke but thanks for pointing that out.

you left out many details as to what you want. Diesel or gas? 2500HD or 1500? What do you plan to do with the truck?

Where you live also makes a difference, are you in rust heaven NY or are you in no rust FL?

Hard to tell you anything when your post says "I want a crew cab 5.3 or 6.0, what should I buy".

Wait you can't read minds or just make suggestions based off vague posts?

    Internet is really hard nowadays
