I have a lead on a set of King 2.5 OEM series CO with the seller asking $1100.

Says these, pic attached, have a few thousand street only miles. Also said they are only 2 weeks old. The mileage, age, and picture don't really add up to me.

What do you all think? What would a reasonable price for these be.

that's about half price of new ones, but to rebuild them it'll be close to the same as new
    Id offer like 600

I saw those as well, If it was legit I'd say 8-900 but I agree, doesn't look right.

Not a chance in hell thats a couple weeks old. First off, who does a few k in 2 weeks and secondly, there's mud and shit in the picture. Nothing wrong with a used part but you've gotta call it like it is.

I agree with above, you should expect to have to freshen them up.

Two weeks old no but they are 1/2 the price new and they are easy to rebuild and not that expensive. I just re valved mine and changed seals for about 80.00 in parts and 35.00 in oil. You don't need the oil if your not tearing em all down tho.

Depending on where he had the truck and the weather these things look rough pretty quick especially in the rust belt.

They could look like that after one day, but not on pavement.

Hey thanks for all the feedback. I agree that's looking dirty isn't a big deal, but it doesn't jive with highway only miles. The seller is in Socal, so I imagine weather wasn't a huge concern. It was really down to price. I don't think the asking is 1/2 of what new ones cost. It's fronts only. I've seen front pair in the 1400 to 1500 range.

I think 800 to 900 seems fair to give me room for rebuild if necessary.
