IIRC, GM didn't bastardize the full size trucks by building 2wd Z71 trucks. The AT trucks could only be applied to Z71, so my money is on it being 4WD. But hey, maybe they'll sell you a 4wd for the lower price of a 2wd. But, it might blow your plans if you want to go low.

    Well, :crap: on me.

I knew GM did that to Colorado/Canyon, but I didn't think they did that to Silverado/Sierra.

Z71 is basically shocks and skid plates, but when you get the 4x4 option as well, that's when it becomes the "Z71" we all have come to know

I like them. Thinking about doing something similar on my Burb when I put bigger tires on it.

IIRC, it also included a limited slip diff. LSD for a 2wd I agree with, but calling them Z71 is trying to capitalize on marketing. Same with a 2wd All Terrain trim option.

Cleaned and organized my parts pile. I'm ready to get a new truck so I can sell the parts I know I can't use and clear some space out of this garage

Figured I should put the cab mounts I've had laying around for a year on. Went outside just to see if the bolts would all come out easy and they did so said fuck it and started. Got the driver's side done before it got too late.

Don't mind the nasty rockers, they're getting attention soon. Also ignore the dirty truck but I decided to leave the steps off to see how I like it

Well the NNBS truck I got shipped here turned out to be pretty beat up, so I passed on the deal. Dash was cracked, rust on the frame (Oklahoma and Texas truck), rust in the weatherstripping of the drivers door, but the kicker was some body damage filled in by paint pen. Carfax showed an incident with a parked car on the left side, but the pictures showed no damage. We asked the rep in Oklahoma to specifically look at the left side and he said its perfect. So because of that, the manager refunded my transfer fee of $300 and all I lost was a few minutes of my time.

The hunt is back on for a clean truck, if they exist...
