I'm getting the ISMG575 from Pac for my '06 Sierra with Bose on Friday, shop wasn't 100% sure if it was going to work, they said they would take it back if it didn't

so I'll let you know friday

got my pac iPod control installed on the factory bose setup,
works good, sounds good, controls are some what akward,
you can skip songs and control volume from the steering wheel just fine, its going through playlists and artists that, and moving back in those menus, but how perfect do you expect from a deck never meant to control an iPod,

highly recomended if you just want to plug an iPod in and let it play, thats what I do for the most part, you can also control off your iPod, even my touch so I assume it would work for iPhone,

like I said not perfect but I the 6 disc non-mp3 cd changer was killing me,

RP5-GM11. That retains Onstar, blose, RSE (I think), steering wheel controls, and comes with an antenna adaptor. All you need after that harness is the dash kit brackets.

Look at bestkits.com for the part number on the dash kit.

What radio do you have? The PAC interface doesn't retain satellite. Best bet is to add the SiriusXM SVX200 if it's compatible with your new radio. That way you have info and controls from the aftermarket head unit, and it's only $50ish.

I thought of something about OnStar though, if you're not using the powered outputs from the PAC harness, Onstar won't work. You'll need a speaker powered from that harness for Onstar audio. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
