quit tempting me. I feel like some bigger chrome wheels will be needed after all the blue, can't afford those

Such a nice looking truck, keep that thing out of the salt.

I sure miss having the chevy front :(

I was going to say the same...

LMAO. this truck has been in salt its whole life and it's taken its toll. I patched the rockers a while back but the lip is still rusty, the undercarriage is bad as well. god knows what the flares are hiding... there's no stopping it now

I'll have enough paint to almost paint the entire truck, maybe some more pieces will make it into the booth. For sure scuffing and spraying the cowl panel now though

I'd try to save it man, not many of these early hd's left, which is one of my favorites. Just keep going do a little now but maybe come spring tear the bed off and get in the frame, hell I did that on my '13 just so it would enever get to that point. Nice having the new truck sit in the barn tho.

I've considered covering the frame in POR-15 but am still undecided on whether or not it's worth the effort. I'm planning on keeping it until it either blows up or I can afford a much newer truck, only time will tell what I end up doing. If I had a shop to leave it in, I'd buy a cheap DD and just park the HD and begin tearing into it one piece at a time.

Fluid film dude. It will basically stop the rust that's there now and prevent it from getting worse. Once a year coating and it's easy to just spray on. @11MPG

That bumper is getting bad. Still waiting on closing on our house and spring to finally break out before handling the rust.

Bowtie will stay black, plan to paint all the grey cladding black. Front bumper bar will be getting replaced and color matched bedliner. Same bedliner on the nerf bar's as well. New valance eventually. Want to swap rear bumper to a denali bumper. As for the Fogs, the yellow is for winter, just vinyl. Do want another set for summer with 5-6k 25w hid.

Denali bumper pads are black, my valance is black, roof rack is black. But the side cladding is gray. I think the black helps break it up some. Especially with the nerf bar's going to be same color as body.

So I did a bit of looking around and the truck has 4.10's and a G80. I am cool with that. received_10158088206500251.jpeg
