i have a 00 silverado 5.3 z71 its not getting any power to the fuel pump,the relay clicks,i replaced the relay with a new still nothing,checked all the grounds the pump is brand new.The fuel pump will run if i jump the relay 30-87.any suggestions before i spend 500 dollars at the dealership?

try and look at you pcm 2 and 1 fuse. sounds dumb but a buddie of mine had the same issue and thats what it was. get back at me and ill look into it for ya .

Are you just cycling the key or are you actually cranking the engine over?

If you cycle the key it will cycle the pump, but will require the engine to be cranked to keep the pump going.

you can also pull the fuse and jumper the pump to stay on. i wanto say its the bottom and the right holes cant remember without looking at it. check ur pcm fuses first tho
