I just had my transmission replace and I had to stab the transmission twice but the second time around it gave me a code for something wrong in the transmission so I gave it back to the transmission guy that rebuilt my transmission. He fixed the transmission problem but later at night time I notice that I now have no reverse lights but when I stabbed the transmission the first time I did have reverse lights. I checked my fuse its good and the bulbs are good but when I checked the fuse with a test light while I had the truck in Reverse it had no power at all going through the fuse. So will the neutral safety switch have anything to do with this from when the transmission guy had it maybe because if so then I will take it back to him.

Yes, sounds like the neutral safety switch issue, either it isn't adjusted properly or the wiring/plugs aren't making a good connection. Does the gear indicator on the cluster match the gear your transmission is in?

If they worked before the guy messed with the trans, take it back.

I was worried more about the transmission working right after the second stab. I am not 100% positive it was working but I am 100% sure it was working after the first stab and the transmission guy wont call me back.
