I swapped an 03+ console into my truck last summer. The previous owner banged up the lid a little bit. Almost looks like he stabbed a fork into it a couple times. I was thinking about either wrapping it with some black pleather or something like that. Or smoothing and painting it. I am kinda leaning towards paint, maybe silver. Ive got some accents throughout the interior in silver, what do you all think? Any pictures?

My interior is charcoal, but is setup like this. My dash bezel and the trim around the vents are silver. Ive also got a panel on the front of the console in silver. I think it would match well. Im just thinking about whether or not it would be ricey.

Im considering maybe repainting the bezel a gunmetal tint, cause the silver on there has some flake and it blings pretty hard. Im thinking it might be a little much, possibly changing everything to gunmetal would match the charcoal better but still give contrast.
