Will an older hood like 04/05 hood fit on an 06 Silverado with any problems? Anyone done one before? Looking to see if one of the ram air hoods for the earlier years will fit on my '06. Thanks

yes, but it it wont look right unless you get an 03-05 grill, or do some body to the hood.

seems like they made HD ram air hoods, but I dunno :shrug:

edit: I checked and they do make them. you want either ram air hood from the HD trucks, or 06-07 classic hood; either way, same hoods.

yup you'll need an 03-05 grill if you want to use that hood
