Making some progress on my new Duramax in the past couple weeks so i figured i start a build thread.

2005 Chevrolet 2500hd LLY LT picked up from a gmf member for 16,700 in Las Vegas flew out from NC on Wednesday and drove back took two days and 2200 miles on wore out mud graps (loud) :insane2:.

Nice truck, what colour is that exactly ? The transgo jr isn't really worth putting in for all the work that needs to be done to install. Rest of the plans sound good though !

Thanks and yeah I got them on order now. Deciding rather to do led cluster or wait till I get escalade gauges

Same here just bought books and had just enough to spare for some interior light bulbs lol.

I'm definitely wanting to get a Dmax to play with since my cousin bought his 05' LLY about 2 months ago. But, I'd have to get rid of both of my current trucks and I'm not sure I could go through with that.... :hmm:

It had 119k when I picked it up and drove back 2k so around 123k now. And well worth it IMO. I had a nnbs on 35s and I save a good bit more but I do drive highway a lot for college.

Thanks, Yeah I know I couldn't find a decent one without spending $$$ around here that's why I was willing to fly out and drive 2k miles
