I finally found an LBZ that was as close to what I wanted as possible. It's a 2007 Sierra CC 4x4 with 115k miles, it appears to be super clean. I'm not completely sure on the build specs yet. I guess I will be winging it a little bit. I do know for sure the terrible farm bumpers will be leaving and it will be getting some Denali headlights. Probably gonna do turbo back exhaust, egr delete, HD hood, some colormatching, leather interior swap, Escalade dash swap. I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna leave any chrome or not. It is supposed to be delivered to me on Monday. I can't wait to dig into it and see if I got a deal or if I paid too much.

Good find. Looks like alot less body work with this one. I agree on the bumpers.
Woohoo!

Did you notice the rear tire eating the bedside?

Pay attention to what I said dildo.
Looks good, idk how much you paid but I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably got a good deal. With the aftermarket bumpers and wheels you have at least $2k you can recoup by selling them.

I'm taking some 15 Sierra bumpers that I am color matching to my blaster, so I thought I would throw in this old bumper with them.

Leave the amber parts out completely and get some mini h1 retrofit. The output is really worth the money! Can't wait to see the new bumpers and build.

Already have the 7.0 mini H1's ordered through TRS, and have my plates ordered through 2005_Silverado

I don't like how they look with no reflector at all, that is why I am going to get some Klearz lenses made.

I'm gonna go with DDMtuning on my HID's, I just can't justify paying that much more for the Morimoto's when I have had such good results for the last 5 or so years with the way cheaper DDM.
I have also located a really nice OEM 01 HD hood. I checked with my GM dealer and they have been discontinued and he couldn't find a new one anywhere. I had to give $200 for the used hood but it is supposed to be in great shape. I guess I will see when it makes it's way to me.

Nice you will be happy with the output. I prefer the morimoto cause when you buy the whole kit you get a 5 year warranty. Plus Black Friday they run 30% off sales over $300. I like the amber out when it matches up with euro clear turn signals. Here's a pic of my old setup. Never got around to clearing the amber before I sold it. Anyway it will look great.

Got my Denali lights today.

Gonna send the corners in to Klearz and have some clear ones made.

So glad I saw this, I contacted Klearz about making denali reflectors a few weeks ago but then I couldn't find where i stashed my oem reflectors from 5 years ago. Please keep us informed when they become available because I will buy a set from them too.

As far as the truck build, if the interior is all in tact, then you probably will get off fairly cheap, I know axles and body panels can be found pretty reasonably around me.

if klearz is making the reflectors do they need a minimum order?

Just saw this. Same as what he said.
I'd be interested in the clear reflectors as well. How did you go about opening up the headlights? I ended up just cutting the permaseal off lol

I used a heat gun and two gasket scrapers. I used the scrapers in a scissor motion and slowly pryed them apart. It was the easiest set I've ever disassembled. The TBSS lights I did were a nightmare.
Permaseal will come apart just takes time and couple bakes. Once apart clean off all seal and use butyl rubber as new sealant.
