Got my kit installed the other day. It was pretty easy. I didn't need a spring compressor or to remove the the brake calipers or brake discs. All in all the first side took 1.5 hours and the second took about 45 minutes. So enough talk here are the pics.

Front fender measured 37" before and 39" after with the rear measuring 39.25". Now what do you guys think run my new tires black or white out? I'll be running them on my stock wheels.
White out?

or black out?

What do you guys think??

Wow, what a huge difference. Definitely run the tires black out imo.
Damn that was a quick response. Black out is what I think I'm going to run!! I'm not a big fan of trying to keep the white letters bright...
would you have done the leveling kit if you were to have kept the stock tires?
Yes, I was doing the leveling kit with or with out new tires. The new tires are 285s just nothing huge or much bigger then my stockers. I just got a good deal on the STTs because I bought them from a friend.
Close upf of the front end.
Before

After, also had to loose the air dam/ plastic/ what ever you call it

The free advertisement on the front and back plates are coming off as soon as I get my plates...

awesome man :D I love those tires... i almsot got em in their 37x12.50
Thanks bowtie. Hey man who makes/made your front bumper?? I like it!!
1st of all, the truck looks great and I like the tires. What brand of leveling kit did you go with?

Thanks bowtie. Hey man who makes/made your front bumper?? I like it!!
2ndly that's a Tough Country bumper.. The Apache with the Euro Bar and D Rings. Other options include 2" Receiver (Protruding or Flush), Expanded Metal, Fog Light Cut Outs, Winch Plate, Aftermarket Light Tabs, and I think that's about it.. You can also get the bumper without the lower bar in the Euro Bar.
Go to www.toughcountry.com and check it out.
I have one on my truck and I love it. Unlike my Ranch Hand rear bumper, the Tough Country Apache is built much better and the powder coating actually stays on.
looks beefy, scrub those tires now!
Kyle,
I went with CCMoffroad. They are a company out of CA. I actually bought it on ebay of all places. I asked for a few pointers on here before I got it, and was a little worried if my buddy and I were going to be able to do it in the driveway. I was being told to get spring compressors and I had to remove the brake caliper. This kit is just a spacer that mounts between the stock upper strut mount and the strut. Very simple and effective. Really all we had to do was pop the upper ball joint out and take the strut out. Put the spacer on top trip the factory upper strut bolts and replace the strut 180 degrees (the only way possible) and button everything up. I have pictures of the actual spacer on my post in the "photos/videos" forum.
Kyle,
Thanks for the info on the bumper. I really like the look and set-up. I hope they build some for the new style GMs.
yep, kyle got it right! I wanna take my lower bar out and do the foglights like his too! I actually didnt think mine was gonna come with it!
The company that I originally bought the bumper from had no idea what they were doing and they ended up ordering me a total of 5 different front end replacements because they couldn't get the right bumper. In the midst of them continously ordering the wrong bumpers, I kept one on my truck that looked almost exactly like yours but it didn't have the tow loops. I didn't really like my bumper very much until I put the four piaa's on it. I love it now.
if you look in the reflection you can see your buddy drinking a beer, LMAO

Oh yeah we had to have a beer or two. During the process. Actually that is the guy that was suppose to come over and help and didn't show up until we were putting the second tire back on the truck and lowering the jack...
