Figured I'd make one of these to keep up with what all has been done to my truck and to provide a little motivation to get it where I want it. Have it on another site and figured I'd keep up with it here as well..

Specs:

2008 GMC Sierra RCSB 4.3 W/T :(
-McGaughys 4/7 (2” drop spindle, coil relocators, and a 7” flipkit)
-Belltech street performance rear shocks (replaced the Monroe air shocks)
-Yukon 20’s on 275/45/20’s
-Color matched handles
-Color matched mirrors
-Cleared headlights
-Colormatched GMC emblem
-6k lows and fogs
-Halogen highs
-Debadged
-20% tint all around
-Tinted tails and 3rd break light
-Led interior lights
-Led reverse lights
-Replaced W/T console with 3-cup console
-Added the DIC panel (Driver information control panel)
-Pioneer AVH-3200 BT
-Backup camera
-Two Fosgate 12’s with a 500 watt monoblock
-Viper 5901 alarm/remote start
-Denali upper grill, lower grill, and lower
valance

Immediate future plans:
-Newer front bumper
-Color match front/rear bumper
-Random odds and ends.

Trying to start collecting parts to bag it..

Day it was bought on the lot. October 31st, 2008…

At home and with my paw-paw..

Billet grill

With old car and then colormatched/tinted…

Changing consoles (not quite a match but no one notices)...

Nice man. 6.2 swap :)
Nice man. 6.2 swap :)
Haha, I wish. Saw a 6.2 on craigslist the other day but am saving for bags. Motor will come later on in its life.
Bags are a huge pita, kill your resale, and just not worth it.

Motor.
Did jest hard at picture of you. Doesn't even look like you :lol2:

Would love more motor but still going the bagged route for now.

spoken just like someone who has never invested the money necessary to build a bagged daily driver.

truck looks good and will look more titties laid out.

No, spoken like an intelligent man who considers the future profit margins of this kids biggest investment at this time of his life. Idiot.

You'll regret the bags, you'll never regret scaring bitches when you get sideways with 400 rwhp in a rcsb :)

so thats an intelligent decision? scaring bitches sideways? different strokes for different folks, but calling me an idiot is a little immature.

I will never regret what I've done to my truck. I build trucks because I enjoy it and I love having a smooth ride while tucking rim.
Bagging it now will only compliment the motor mods in the future . Trust me, coming from somebody that is bagged, bodied, and turboed,Its a huge plus to be able to adjust my suspension to get it to due what I need on the fly . It rides alot better, and you don't have to worry about hitting every speed bump in the parking lot just because you have a lowered truck . Bagged FTW

Thanks. Also appreciate your replies in some threads :shake: Noob to bagging so trying to take as many notes as possible.

Is it a big investment I've made? Yes. However, I've managed to completely pay it off and plan on keeping it a longggg while so I don't plan on getting much return on investment as most people who put money in a truck don't and do it for the enjoyment. I also had a WS6 Trans Am and loveddd the HP it had however I'd rather have a smooth adjustable ride then add HP once this V6 has racked up a few miles. I agree tho, a 6.2 would be nice.

Exactly why I'm bagging it first. Would rather have a smooth ride and be low and slow for now. Just need to find more people around here that know what they are doing when it comes to bags.

truck looks good man.. waiting to see those bags thrown on there buddy.. its kinda kool how u can change an appearance on ur vehicule with time an energy put in to it..
Thanks bro. I'm just saving as much money as possible and doing little things here and there until I get the money to bag. Def crazy how much you can change something with time and effort...I'm still in school until next summer but hopefully I'll have the back done by then. G/f is paying for gauges and some other stuff for my birthday lol
