What's the best wat to clean the outside lens for headlights? I hate that i may have to buy new headlights just to improve nighttime visibility, so looking for some cleaning recommendations.

You can buff them with a buffer and rubbing compound to remove the oxidation, typically it will come back though. A lot of people sand them and then clear them. Those haze removal kits they sell at Wal Mart and Advance, Napa etc. seem to just be a temporary fix as well.

So I wet sanded, compound, polish, and put a clear coat on my head lights. They lasted about a year before they started turning yellow again. This was several years back. I just received the headlights below today because I'm tired of my cloudy headlights. Hopefully they don't get moisture in them. I bought my 2009 Silverado new in 2009.

Thanks, I'll give them a check. Any idea if these are compatible for LEB bulbs? Seen a lot of talk about having to modify housing to work with LEB upgrades, etc.

No idea. My biggest concern with LED bulbs is the focal point will most likely change. This causes the light to scatter instead of a focused beam resulting in poor lighting.

I cant speak on the quality of the head lights I purchased so buy at your own risk.

I came across this video on LEDs for the 2009 silverado. I'm gonna run my headlight housings for a bit. If I don't run into any moisture issues I'll probably get the GTR CSP Mini LED bulbs. I want something brighter than stock, but I don't want to be that a$$hole blinding errbody.
