So I am new here, have a 97 Cheyenne ext. Cab. Its a 2wd 4.3 v6. I'm slowly bringing back to life as its sat for a few years due to a bad transmission. This is My future plans its gonna be awhile but I need to know so if it won't work I can know for sure, but a 4/6 drop, and I want zo6 wheels on it but I hate staggered fits. I like squared up fits (ocd like a mother) anyway I read on a thread about backspacing and offset for different widths of rim. My question is can I run a 18x10.5 squared? If not a 18x9.5 squared? (Mostly worried about the front) what's the widest front tire I can run? Wanting 295-40 nitto 555g2 all the way around. I've read about the adapters, 1.5 inch in the front 2 inch in the back. Is this a feasible or even doable setup/idea?
