Just wanted to know the hp and torque specs on a '88 C1500 with the 350.

200 hp 310 tq in 94 and 95 year trucks

210 hp 310 tq in 89-93 trucks

165 hp 235 tq in 88 year (from chilton manual. could be a typo)

that does sound low for the 88s...but ill agree on the 89 on ups...310 lbs torque... :rocking:

Well that's pretty anemic! My lil 302 in the F150 was rated at 185hp/270tq :pow:

i got a 94 with a 350 TBI, i definately can feel that torque... especially in the low end... dunno about the horsepower tho...

I think that all sounds right. But as it applies to you, I think it means a Vortec or LS1 swap :rocking:

slow, very slow. it takes like a minute to accelerate from 110 to 130 on the highway (kmh) :pow:


it can still break loose though
