Alright guys - I've been doing some reading and cant quite find my combo anywhere else. Looking for some fuel rail info, and basically any input you guys can offer.


Decided to freshen up my tow rig for another year. Truck is a 2000 Silverado, 2500 (not the HD) wit the Lq4, 4L80.

The engine warm up goes as follows - 799 heads, TBSS intake, ebay throttle body, and a cam (212/218 .553/.553 113+2) Im also gutting the AC, EVAP and EGR.

Question - What fuel rail would be best (and most common) to hook into the stock fuel lines?

Also - Headers or manifolds?

Stock fuel rails, either the trailblazer rails or stock modified truck rails will do just fine and look factory. Go with longtube headers and off road y pipe.

What do I have to mod on the stock rails? All the write ups Ive seen use the stainless rails. Still the cross over?

Headers ... something with smaller primaries and collectors would be great for a tow pig
