I have a 2000 Sierra standard cab. Planning on buying new tires soon.
My stock tires are 255/70r/16. I was wondering if 265/75/16 tires would fit on my stock vehicle without any problems? The 265's are 1.5 to 2 inches bigger. I want some AT tires that look partially aggresive but will last on the street. Looking at Toyo Open Country AT. Plan on putting front coil spacers and rear blocks, or Fabtech spindles and blocks. Anyone have pics of standard cabs with a small lift installed. Thanks for any help.

i have 265/75r16's on my 4x4 with no probs at all. i dont know how well they'll work on a 4x2 though. if you get 2" lift i wouldn't worry about a problem if i were you.

I have a 4x2 stepside with 265 bfg muds and they fit fine. Also u can fit 285's if ya get 2in coilspring spacers which will only rub at full lock. I have done it each way.
