i have a 2000 silverado and i replaced the DRL bulbs with SMD LED bulbs and they were working fine for about 6 months. then they stopped working so i checked the 10amp DRL fuse and it was burned out. so i replaced the fuse and the lights worked just fine for about 2 days then the fuse burned out again. any ideas what could be going wrong?

Install a bigger fuse, or resistors

i thought about putting in a 15amp fuse but i didn't want to risk burning up any wires, since i don't know how much power those wires can handle
add some resistors inline. will fix problem

what kind of resistors do you think? should i put a set or resistors that are meant for when you put in LED turn signals?
exactly. 6 watt, 50 ohm should do the trick.
