So I just picked up this truck on Tuesday for a new daily so I don't have to drive my bagged colorado in the shitty winter.

It's a 2002 rcsb silverado Ls. 2wd 4.8 power windows doors and mirrors. 107k miles 1 owner pretty clean. Looks like it has been stored in a garage it's whole life.

The night I picked it up.

First thing I did yesterday was take the tailgate off and got the dealer sticker and the badges off It. Stepped 1 and 2 it and then put some wax on. All done by hand.

Did the moldings and doors today and the Ls sticker. Paint underneath is in GREAT shape.

Then tonight I put my leds in my tag lights.

I have 6 more 194 leds for the cluster just waiting on my twist locks to get here.

Also have some ddm 5k highs and lows coming as well.

Will be ordering a set of clear drls and gonna candy my tail lights.

Feature plans:
Tint
Led switchbacks
Led rest of the interior
Maybe a little lift and some bigger tires.

I already have a bagged truck and don't want another lowered on so it will stay this height or go up.

I'd like to get an exhaust and then a BB tune come spring!

Got the truck washed today and spent about 2 hours cleaning the interior. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Hoping to either buy some headers or a lift next!

Got any plans for wheels?

Take a look at the Camburg or BMS 2wd mid travel kits with lift spindles. I'd probably just do that and throw on some 33's and a trutrac & 4.30 gears and call it done.

Nice find man, looks great. Similar to mine

This is blocks, keys, cranked up the torsion bars a little. 18s on some 285/65 nittos. Fairly cheap to go this route. Also a shot of my DDM 5k low beams. Thinking about changing out my rims for something with a little different offset, and going up another few inches.

btw, that canyon looks sick. I traded in my crew cab 2011 5.3 Colorado on this truck last year.

He doesn't have keys or torsion bars.

I actually have a set of 18x8 xtreme wheels from my colorado I test fired since they are the same bolt pattern.

I'm probably going to run them and get a set of 33 to throw on them when I have the money.

2" all day long. Especially if you don't do a lift or mid-travel kit with wider track spindles.

Bora has what seem to be the standard in spacers. I've also used some from Wider Trax and like them and they appear to be the same as the Boras.
The rough country style ones are mediocre, but work fine.

1.5" you'll need to trim the unthreaded portion off all the oem studs BC they'll protrude past the face of the new spacers. Unless you wheels have "reliefs" on the backside mounting surface between lug holes?!? 2" RCX on mine with ZERO problems.
