NADA is $8175

http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2003...500-PICKUP-1-2-Ton-V8/Extended-Cab-2WD/Values

I searched Autotrader for the same truck within 100 miles of here and the average price was about $9800.

I figured everybody offers less than you ask instead of more, so why not start out high and go down from there. I would accept a reasonable offer but I'm not giving it away.

It's paid for and don't eat much just sitting in the yard.

NADA is what a dealership would ask.

If NADA is what a dealership would ask then thats about a $6000 truck to an individual. U might can find an old guy to buy it since its kinda papawed up and he might give a little more.

I would honestly like to see NADA find a vehicle 10 years and newer for what they say they are worth and the older ones they over price, ridiculous. IMO its worth what someone is willing to pay and based upon the other ones in your area in similar condition.

I'm an old guy, so it's ok.

You know what's cool about old guys? They can usually afford to buy trucks when they want to.
Lol was that a comment about on young people being poor?

Not at all but I was young once a long time ago and remember that it was not as easy back then to just drop a stack of bills for a vehicle whenever I wanted or whenever I needed.

It's still not easy, but it is easier.
