at start up it would put out a cloud of white smoke figured it was the valve seats so we put new heads on it yesterday noticed today still puffed out a little white smoke when i went to start it today. does anyone have any suggestions on why it would be doing it at start up but not while you driving it?

White smoke or blue smoke? White smoke is coolant, blue smoke is oil.

Sucks that you threw heads on it without really diagnosing it.
