Just wondering if it is possible to bluetooth my phone to the onstar in my truck? The subscription has run out a long time ago, but is there still a way to do it? Friend of mine does it and he has an 09 (mines an 08), and I was looking on his sticker and it said as an option "bluetooth for phone". I'm assuming GM just started doing this in 09. Mine doesn't have that option on the sticker. Is it possible? If not, what are some other options to bluetooth my iPhone for handsfree calling while driving?

read that. CoStar unit...though I must warn you, my wife has the iPhone and I installed one in her Denali and it didn't work exactly as advertised. This was before the 3.0 OS upgrade though and I hear they fixed a lot of glitches.

OEM Bluetooth didn't happen until the 09 models.

what would you have to replace to get it in an 08? im thinking about getting the factory navigation, so could i just get the one for the newer year with bluetooth?

It's the onstar module unit that has the bluetooth, not the radio. You would need to swap that, if that even works, which I have no clue if it would. Might?
