2012 Gear Swap

Now that I have the lift done, I am thinking about re-gearing in the future. I know there are a ton of threads about gears, but I couldn't find a direct answer anywhere.

Someone told me that starting around '10-11 GM changed the carriers and now they won't work with any gears above a 4.10. First, is that true? Second, I plan on 4.88's so if that is true, will I need a new carrier for the front and rear or just the rear?

From what I have been reading it seems like the TrueTrac is the way to go. I don't know a ton about lifted trucks, so all of this is pretty new to me. Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to make sure I get everything ordered right the first time around.

If you don't do much high speed highway driving, 5.13's way to go. especially with a good tune & 37" tires.
The truck sees less than 400 miles a month, so daily driving and highway aren't a concern at all.

5.13's all the way. Make sure you get a good tune. You have 6 speed correct?
I do have a 6 speed. And I'm thinking about a black bear tune.

you NEED a tune after going gears of that big of a jump. And 6 speed, 5.13's, 35/37's with a BB tune. Will net exponential result.
