Stopped by the dealer today to look at a used duramax ended up test driving a brand new 2014 sierra 1500 slt. Just wondering what you guys paid for yours? I can get a 14 slt (leather and all the bells & whistles) shortbed for $39k. Good price or what? They offered me 19k trade in for my 08 with 59k miles (truck in sig). I can only judge a good deal by the percent you save off MSRP. Too many varying items make up each truck's list price ...

That said - I consider a least 10% off list to start considering it, 15 % off is good in New England, 20 % off is usually when there is a factory sale like $2000-%6000 rebate or it's now a left over with the 2015's here, & 25% list is the 1 (ONE) and only one they list in the For Sale Ad's to draw you in ...

It looks like a pretty good deal. In the area market where I am that truck is still in 40s easy. there is alot of dealer rebates in place to get that price such as GM loyalty, end of year, truck month etc...
Most people clearly do not understand that not all vehicles can have some 10-20% mark up from invoice and the manufacture kicks in the biggest rebates most of the time.
