Well... I think I'm done buying trucks for a bit. Wanted a loaded truck with a Duramax so I had no more excuses to upgrade anymore lol. I wouldn't let my 2014 Sierra go in my head, so I bought another Sierra since I was so attached to the damn thing! Plus, I like that front end. Little more work with the fenders to make it how I like compared to my 15' Chevy, but it will be worth it in the end imo. I'm pretty excited to see what I can do with a new Dmax power plant. That Lbz had some balls so I have some high expectations for this one.

I'm tired of buying shit so I hope I stay happy with this one. Anyway, on to the truck.

It's a 2015.5 (built after August 14) Sierra HD SLT Duramax with all the little goodies. Used to either black or white, I figured it was time for a change. I saw this Iridium Metallic in the middle if the showroom and I was hooked. At first it just looked like a dark grey online, but after seeing it in person all that metal flake really popped in the sun when it got outside. Perfect for a nice show piece. A little leery at first but I think I made the right choice. The whole package & price I got it for really made me fall for this new build. Im hoping I'll get GMFS approval and get the help with this one again.

When confronted by how many cars he owned, Jay Leno's response was "Who here would do this if they could?"

DMax looks good. Need to figure out how to tastefully remove that fluid-injection / torpedo-tube of an exhaust system.

Plans are to go big or go home. It's got to start somewhere so before I get to ahead of myself, first things first... The standard GMFS treatment.

Clear the heads with Phill @fastheadlights

Shave the front & rear fenders again. I wonder how easy it's going to be to CM this lol

Few debadging & color matching.

Some removals... Flaps, running boards & lower valance.

Replacing these things with the updated tows. Idk why the hell it came with these in the first place...

I want to shave the 3rd brake light again.

Candy the outer portion of these tails

Gonna stag some chrome tow hooks too.

Every tiny little piece of plastic that's not matching the exterior will be CM'ed. The little details I'll prolly only notice but that ok with me. I.e.

That's all I got so far for the exterior.

it's going in the body/paint shop this Thursday to get what's mentioned above done except the mirrors. I'm hoping they can remove the heads then too so I can get them sent out to Phill.

I know huh... I'll prolly end up dumping it again under the bed so it's hidden but add a nicer polished tip to it. Needs to sound like a Dmax... Atm that's not at all what it sounds like lol. More like a whisper!

Wheels are ok. Not 6s or anything

I'm planning on seeing what this SLT grille looks like CM'ed before I decide on another route. Being CM should clean up the front end a little. A CM All Terrain Grille or a full billet YETI combo is still on the table. I figured I'll give them all a try and go from there.

Here's a few random interior shots. Nothing we all haven't seen before.

Anyway, hope you like it. I'm excited to get started.

Umm. Tbh, my insurance company says the same thing I sold the lifted Sierra the other day, still got the car and working a deal on the SS as we speak. The PreRunner might not last too much longer as I think I'll need a nicer off-road truck when I hit the west coast imo. thanks bro!

I do too! You really only see the Mettalic up close but I would say its pretty close. You know how GM does it, interesting names on their exterior colors lol. Twin?! Hell no, my truck would never compare to any of your builds. Too nice.

Hahaha. You guys are crazy. This better last more than 4 weeks. This shit was expensive lol. I could of bought a Denali HD and already paid for my lift with the amount of options they spec'ed out on here. way over priced these guys charge. Got a smokin deal though if you ask me.
