Hi,

I have a 2015 Denali HD crew cab (gas) lifted with a 6" FTS with 35' Toyo's on 20" wheels.

Truck rides really rough. Small bumps (pot holes) etc it sucks... I am also getting a ton of steering feedback from the small bumps and potholes. (I added a stabilizer) and also ordered the Cognito Pitman and Idler arm kit. I have it and need to install. I hope that fixes this problem.

My question is if I change out the shocks (Fab tech low budget shocks came with the kit) and change out the upper arms is this going to help this issue correcting the really rough ride and correct the steering feedback? Torrsion bars are set to Fab tech specs also. The upper arms are stock I think. I have read that a lot of flex is caused by these and also a ton of wear...

My 06 diesel lifted diesel rides great so I though I would get at least similar performance. (I bought the gas to drive daily)

Any comments or questions would be great. To say the least I have poured a lot of money into the truck and If I change the shocks to a Fox, or Fabtech dirt logic and change the upper a-arms is the ride going to be better?? Or am I wasting my money. I am pretty much ready to get rid of it... Pretty disappointed.. I have had it for 4 months.

Not real sure. I took them to a local guy to double check the company that did the lift install. He said they had the alignment was way off but did say the bars are set correctly. I will maybe take a 1/4 turn out of them? Any thoughts?

You won't be able to tell a difference turning the t bars down a quarter turn. A few rounds down and you may. I had cheap shocks on my truck for a while and it rode like a wagon so I out some bilstein 5100s on and its a lot better. Go ahead and get some resis if you got the cash and it will ride better

You wouldn't dd a new truck if you bought one? Maybe he would rather dd a nice truck instead of having a BMW or Mercedes to dd.
Oh hell ya I would... that's why I want to know his profession in order to do this myself
Uh, plenty of guys of guys on here lifting new trucks

gets a hand me down truck...wants to know how someone can afford better one..that sounds like about right..:lol2:

I had foxes on my last 2500hd and they helped a bunch, but if your overcranked, best shocks in the world won't help much
