Is there a difference in tire size with a 9" rim compared to a 9.5"? I just ordered my Mcg 4/7 kit for my NNBS and im looking at new tires thinking my current Nitto 285/45/22's are gonna rub up front after I drop it. Should I stick with something in the 285/40/22 range or since the rim is not as wide should I go 275/45/22? Oh and Offset is +35 on my rims. I've been using the search function like mad lately gathering info but this is something I cant recall seeing. Thanks for any help.

My wheels are 22x9.5 +35 and I have 275 45 22 with a 4/6 drop and I do not rub anywhere. I did tap back some metal on the firewall side and heated up the plastic liner to gain some more clearance.

Nice truck. Thanks for the reply. Im mostly wondering if I should go with a 275 over a 285 because of the 1/2" narrower rim so the tire will stretch across it more and would a 285 actually be taller on the 9" rim? Might no make any difference just wanting to make sure.

I run 265/40/22 on all my NBS on 22x9s. Was skeptical of them to begin with. But very pleased.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have 305/40's on the back so might look funny with 265/40's? Maybe 275/40's will look better with the 305/40's?
