I'm planning on moving up to the 06 classic front end on my 2004 Silverado. I know that the grill and hood will be a direct fit. I'm wanting to do the 2500hd bumper pad. As I know it sits an inch or so higher than the factory one. What type of modifications do you have to do to put the bumper pad on. I want that more aggressive look and I think the 06 hood and grill with the 2500hd pad will give it that look I'm looking for! if you guys have pictures that would also help. Hd bumper cap sits about 2" higher to make up the gap from the 2" body raise the hds have over 1500s. If you have a 1.5" BL, the hd bumper cap will fit no problem.

If you don't have a bl you will need to cut and lower the frame horns

I did a 1.5" bl and didn't raise the front bumper. Instead I put an HD bumper cap on and it fit fine.

BL is a body lift right? I'm not a real big fan of them.
