the 275 would fit the 9" wheel better. I'm running a 265 on my 8.5", and it looks sweet. Do you know for sure that these wheels will tuck? I thought nbs needed 6" or more of b.s. to tuck on a 9" wheel.
still not likely. 255 is only 10mm smaller per side than a 275. that's less than half an inch, not to mention that a 255/35 is only 10 inches wide as is the wheel itself. the rim might actually stick out past the tire just a bit...... i'm not saying it's not possible(anything's possible), but i wouldn't do it.
you can get some more clearance if you roll the rear fenders...
I'm running a 240/40 and a 295/40 and i'm a bit lower than a 4/6 drop :crazy: Its all about correct backspacing. I personally would never run another set of wheels and tires that stick out that far again though. My paint is all messed up b/c of the crap my tires would kick up.
