Anyone have pics of a 28" tire on a dropped obs, preferably a 3-5" drop? I have a set of 275/40/20s that I will be running on my tahoe here really soon and am not quite sure how it will look. I know the truck they came off of looked stupid, but it was a stock height 4x4 tahoe, but on the other hand my old obs truck dropped 5-7" was on a 28" tire and looked stupid because they looked really tall on that truck.

Any input or pics would be appreciated

*EDIT the 275/40s are actually 28.7 not 28"

i dont know about OBS but im running over 30 on my NNBS
Yeah but theres quite a bit of difference there between OBS and NNBS. The tires look like they have a really low profile to them, but I just got rims yesturday and will get them mounted Wednesday.

The stock 245/75/16s that came on my tahoe are 30.5" tall and those look small at stock ride height. But I think the 28.7" tire will be fine.

I guess I'll find out this week :D

When I had my old tahoe limited dropped 4/5 , I had 275/45 20's for a while and it looked ok. I went to a 245/40 20 and looked much better. That 28" would look really good with your 3/5.

Nice thanks man, I'm going to find out tomorrow. My buddy works at a powersports shop and has a tire changer, he told me to come down and I could do them so I'm getting them mounted and balanced for the cost of stick on weights :D Can't complain about that

I got the wheel and tires installed yesturday, the drop only turned out to be about 1.5" up front with the bars decranked and 3" in the rear with a 3" drop shackle.

I'm going to raise the front leaf spring hanger 2" to get some more drop in the rear, but I have to pull the gas tank to do that :( and I had 3/4 of a tank this weekend. But I need to get the front down so I will be ordering some springtech or belltech 3" drop keys.

The tires look a little small, but I think if I went with a bigger tire they would look too big, so I dunno yet LOL. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to get the gas tank out to raise the front hangers and figure something out for the keys and probably pull the running boards off since I don't need them anymore already :D

And my brother still hasn't brought my camera back so no pics yet....Sorry
