i have a 01 chevy silverado z-71, and i need to know if 285/75/16's will fit without modification, i was told it wouldn't, but i'm pretty sure it will, will somebody please clear this up for me, thanks!

ya it is on the stock rim, why not run 35's with a 3 inch body lift? i'm really not wantin a body lift anyway i dont' like all of the frame showin, i'm savin up to get and 8-12 inch suspension lift..... 285/75/16's are just to do for now cause i almost got stuck with the gay firestone wilderness tires that came stock! lol

now i just have to figure out what kind of tires to get, i think i'm gonna get some super swamper trxus mud terrain, i'm not sure though, are they good tires?
