So I put a 7inch bds lift with 37inch tire on my 2wd 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 with 250,000 miles on it, I’m just curious if I’m gonna run into issues with the transmission or rear end? I’d greatly appreciate any help.

Without knowing ANY history on your truck no one will know for sure. Just be easy on it and be prepared for a breakdown.

At almost 20 years old and 250,000 miles you shouldn’t be surprised if anything breaks if it was still stock.

High mileage? You will need to change the tire size settings to correct the speed output seen by the ECM. Helps calibration to actual speed, load, mileage and shift points.

Not sure how much you want to put into the truck but a set of 456 or 488 gears would help quite a bit. Plan on spending $2k-$2500 if you have a shop do it.
