I am thinking about cranking up the torstion bars on my 85 gmc sierra, getting a 3in body kit, putting in a locker, then getting 33's. Does all this sound doable?

Did the '85 2wd trucks have torsion bars? :think: I don't think they did...our '90 2wd suburban is all coil spring in the front..but thats a 2500...soo...

Ok, we have now officially established the fact that he has coils...so does anyone wanna tell him what he could do so he can run 33s??

1) 6" suspension lift
2) 3" Body lift + cutout flares
3) 3" bodylift and a hacksaw
4) chainsaw and plasma cutter

i have 3 body 2 suspension clears them just fine :head:
