I have a 08 GMC Sierra with 285's on them. I have a level on the truck, which makes the center of the front tire well sit at 41" and the back is at 41 1/4". I am trying to find out what's the biggest size tire I can put on my stock 17's? Any advice?

How tall of a tire do you want to run? The width doesn't tell us much.

Im trying to see if i can either fit a Nitto 35/12.50/17 or a Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 315/70/17.

A 12.50 is really too wide for the stock 17's and good luck fitting those tires. You need a 6" lift to properly clear those.

get the 315's and if they don't fit then get a 1.5" body lift :wave:

My nitto trail grapplers(305/55/20) measure out at 33" tall and 13" wide. I have a 2.5" TGC level and 1.5" Zone BL.

It does rub just a tad at full lock. Not enough to cut anything though.

Id personally go with 305's.. unless you add a 1.5'' BL you could probably clear a 315.
