I have a 2002 4wd 2500hd gmc sierra with a 6 inch rcd lift on it and I'm getting new wheels and tires for it. I wanted to know if i could fit 37s on a 17 inch rim with little modification. It has 35s on 16s right now and only rubs while hitting a bump at full lock. I'm also looking for brand recommendations for the tires and what kind of offset and spacing the wheels need.

i fit 37" stt's on my 6" superlift on a 1500 so you shouldnt have an issue. Depending on backspacing of course

Depends on wheel width and offset. I fit 37s on about 5" of lift on x10s with +15 offset an some cut

You'll prob have to do a BL. Mines a 1500hd with a fabtech 6" and 3" body and wheels are 20x10 with -25 offset and tires are 37/13.5

If you wanna stick with 17's you'll prob have to go with 12.5 wide tires and a 9" wide wheel. I'm not as knowledgeable about wheels as the rest of these guys, but I'm thinking you'd need a minimum of 4.5" backspacing and a -18mm offset.

I'm sure someone else will chime in with ballpark measurements

Scratch that, 7 years and nearly 10 months old.

It's your first post. So first, welcome to the forum.

But as a heads up, this thread is dead and buried. And the user only has 9 posts in 2013, don't expect much as to him answering your question.

I applaud Tripp for being so polite. Normally you’d just get a kick in the dick and told to consult the google from the rest of us trolls, lmao

Hello I’ve read the whole conversation and I was wandering if you only have a just the suspension lift or did you go add more lift to your truck. I have a 2500hd I wanna do the same to
2011 GMC Sierra with 26 inch rims and 6.5 inch lift and 37x13.5x26 tires

Any recommendations
