I was drivin down the road the other day about 45-50 mph. When I pushed the gas pedal all that happened was a rev, when I let off the gas the truck lunged forward, any ideas? When I stopped at a red light I decided to drop it into 1st, and go through the gears, everything was fine in 1st and 2nd, but when i shifted into 3rd, it was the same thing, anybody had the same problem? How do I fix it?

2. No 3rd or 4th gear: 3-4/direct clutches are worn out. Remove & Replace.

How do you replace the direct clutch? How much is it? This is my first time with auto trans problems, always had manuals
