4-link for a dually

I just picked up 1993 dually. It is currently bagged with the old faithful air over leafs. I am gonna redo the whole setup and was cuious to the best setups for rear. Anyoen make a bolt on kit or prefebbed weld on? Thanks

The kp 4 link with canti would probably work. Someone else will probably pipe up soon that knows more than I do. are you plannin on hauling anything with it or is going towards a show truck? Dunno if something like the canti would hold up with the payload a dually can hang with.

Air Ride Technologies Air Bar. Cameron (physh1) has one. You have to mod some stuff to add a stepnotch and lay out, but I'm not sure of the details. I don't think KP has made bolt on 4 link for dualies yet.

Yup...I'm layed out on a slightly modded airbar. You'll need a step notch to lay of course. With a step you'll need to mount the panhard higher than air ride says. I also welded the upper shock mounts higher. Not extensive mods by any means but needed for laying out and driving at a lower height.

Here are some pics....

Basically, everything is mounted on the step notch instead of the c-notch and stock frame it's meant to install on out of the box.

I haven't seen any KP stuff for anything over a half-ton. The AirBarHD is going to be about your best choice. But you will have to modify it to lay out. Might try talking to Physh1, as he modded his to lay :shake:

The AirBar HD is probably the wrong one to use. It's built to tow heavy heavy loads and probably will require a lot more to lay on if you can do it. The regular 1 ton airbar will be cool....crap...I've towed 12k pounds on it w/o a single issue.

Nice truck, but it can't be the one he's talking about as the Blue Dually didn't have an Air Over Leaf rear.

Yeah it is up around Tacoma, WA now. It had full 4 link with Canti setup

No the one I bought is a old school Cover truck from way back. I am gonna completly redo it top to bottom. So I'l have a lot of stuff for sell soon.
