I have a '95 G20 with a 5.7L, and my 4L60E overheats. No slipping, or dragging. Only issue is slightly harsh shift from
1st to 2nd. Transmission was bought as "rebuilt", with new torque converter from an online shop. I use my van for occasional towing of a 20' travel trailer, but the trans will run hot with, or without towing.
I've added an aftermarket cooler, and remote spin on filter with temp sensor. Transmission only has about 8k
on it. Thoughts? suggestions?
