I'm selling a 4l60e that came out of my 2006 silverado 1500 4wd. All internals are good on the trans as well as the shell it just needs the seals installed. Also I'm selling it with th torque convertor, I do not know if the convertor is good but it can be rebuilt. Asking $450.00 OBO. Best way to contact me with any questions is text or call my cell @ 4848854882.

the converter is not from your truck?

The transmission was torn apart by a trans shop to check and make sure all the internals were good and the pump was working properly. It was put back together but it needs the internal seals replaced. I decided to go the 4l80e route rather then install another 4l60e.
Why not have shop install new seals while they were taking it apart?

No it is not.

Because I spent $4600 to have my stock 4l60e build my old trans. Well after the shop in delaware built it I kept cracking and breaking the adapter housing that bolts the transmission and transfer case together. After 5 times of cracking 5 different adapters I flipped on the trans shop told them either take the POS trans they built me with 300 miles on it out and give me every penny of my $4600 back or I was driving my truck through the front door so they did just what I wanted and gave me a 4l60e core that they were in the process of rebuilding for somebody else and had everything in the trans done but the seals. So they put it together gave me that core since I no longer had one and gave me a torque convertor from a doner truck. Now I've said fuck the 4l60e POS because it isn't holding up turning my 37s with the 5:13s and EFI tuning.

I'm about to run 37's on 4.88's. I have a performabuilt 4l60e and it's held up real well the last 10k I've put on it. HARD miles. Worth every penny so far ($2400)

I wish I could say the same. I paid $4600.00 to build the one I flipped shit about and returned for a full refund. Kept breaking and it was billet everything, extra clutches, bigger pump and larger torque convertor. Now that I got the full refund I ordered everytning to do a 4l80e conversion from a 2500hd. Cost me $3900.00 for everytning with a 3year unlimited mile warranty. Problem is i do a lot of towing with 5:13s 12" suspension lift, and 37x14s

Yeah 4l80e was my next choice but for the price and I only tow maybe once every two weeks the built 60e works fine for me
