Hey yall i have a 2013 GMC Sierra with a 6.2l V8 in it and i was wondering how to get a little more horsepower with minor modifications.. i know it already has 403 HP but u want a little more just so i can get on the freeway easier.. and maybe some other things lol.. anything would be helpful

Airaid MIT and k&n drop in filter helped out throttle response on mine.

Black bear tune, MIT w/ afe dry filter and a straight through muffler. I've got the 6.2 and all of this really wakes the motor up with the black bear being the main culprit. It really is amazing what Justin can do with these motors.

yeah I agree ya need a tune. Your not getting 403hp with the stock tune, Chevy screws us.

judging by your post you are new to this stuff. get a custom tune. not a hypertech or similar programer either. custom computer tune like black bear.

Yep. Air Raid MIT with a drop in filter, Black Bear tune, and exhaust. Long tubes are best but since you're in Cali a CAT back system is a lot less hassle.

What is your exhaust set up? I'm trying to decide what to do with mine.

Went with a 3.5" single in/ out Gibson from a member on here. Cut off all of the resonators and put the tip right behind the passenger rear wheel.

I love the sound, I believe the muffler is real similar to the magnaflow .

I've been thinking about doing a dynomax 3.5" and dumped right at the axle.

I saw this at the auto show today. I'm going to change mine to look similar .
