hey the other day i noticed that a few of the cab mounts on my blazer are broken. i was going to do a 1" body lift on the truck in a week or so anyways, so would it make sense to just remove the cab mounts all together and just go with a bigger body lift like 3" or something. i dont know if that is a smart thing to do, but i know it would cut a couple hundred dollars out of the build by not having to buy cab mounts.

For your body mounts. first off, are you talking about the actual bracket that is welded to the frame? If so, then No, do not just remove them...Body mounts are there for a reason. If they are damaged, I'd suggest fixing them first. Besides, Body Lifts come with all the mount pucks that are needed, it's a kit, you don't buy them separately, so I'm not sure how that would save you money since you'd be paying for the whole kit regardless of if you used everything in it or not.
