I am upgrading my gauges to Autometer gauges. I have the basic factory gauge cluster with three gauges. The center gauge has a "generator" light that I've been told is an ammeter. My new gauges will have a voltage gauge in it, so I am eliminating the dummy light.

What do I need to do to the factory ammeter to ensure I don't have any charging issues?
